Sena is envious of her boyfriend's rising fame from stolen designs. She recklessly consumes Russian antidepressants bought from the black market, causing horrific red scars on her skin, in hopes of attracting attention and sympathy from those around her, even desiring to make a name for herself as a victim. Unfortunately, the lies blur the line between truth and fiction, leading to irreparable harm. Norwegian director Christopher Borgli's black comedy vividly presents the almost pathological self-obsession and desire for fame in the internet generation, mocking societal culture of deceit while revealing an underlying chill.
