Orphaned at a young age, Xunxiang grows up with her grandfather. During a stone gambling competition, she discovers the bully Qian Youde, who is responsible for her parents' deaths. She infiltrates Qian Youde's home to seek revenge and pursue her parents' relic, the "Moon Spirit" ring. With the liberation of Simo Town, Xunxiang, forced to become a bandit, plots to kill Qian Youde and reclaim the relic, eventually accepting the incorporation of the People's Liberation Army. Xunxiang and the regiment leader Yang Zhong have been childhood sweethearts, while the defense officer Wang Kunshan tries to sabotage their relationship. Wang Kunshan is a saboteur within the PLA, intent on finding the treasure hidden in Simo Town, which is tied to Xunxiang. Yang Yi, Yang Zhong's younger brother, also has his eyes on the treasure. Wang Kunshan colludes with Yang Yi, devising traps to finally extract the secret of the treasure from Xunxiang. The sudden arrival of the PLA not only saves her life but also gives Shen Xunxiang the idea to clear out Mangxiushan entirely. These conspiracies slowly succeed through Shen Xunxiang's meticulous planning, as she aims to dominate Mangxiushan due to the hidden secrets contained within the mountain. While she has planned everything meticulously, facing Yang Zhong takes her by surprise. Yang Zhong is Shen Xunxiang's childhood love, once a lover but now her greatest enemy. His strength, persistence, and integrity, alongside his kindness and warmth, touch the most sensitive nerves within her. Yet, Shen Xunxiang remains irrevocably in love with Yang Zhong.
