During Christmas 2009, the G8 summit will be held in Rome, Italy. In preparation for the arrival of Foreign Minister Kawai Wataru (played by Hirata Mitsu), the Japanese embassy is in a flurry. Meanwhile, the unconventional and sharp-witted diplomat Kuroda Kosuke (played by Oda Yuji) is also dispatched to Rome to handle security and reception duties.
