The film is adapted from the reportage by journalist Tatiana Niculescu Bran. The reportage tells the story of an elderly nun who died after an exorcism ritual in 2005. In the film, there are two main characters, one named Alina and the other Vicky. They grew up in the same orphanage. As adults, Vicky feels that the convent is her spiritual sanctuary, so she becomes a nun; while Alina goes to Germany. They haven't been in contact for a long time, but their fates reconnect due to an accident.
