The story takes place in the crime capital of Rio de Janeiro, where Sandro (played by Michel Gomes) was once an innocent and happy child, but all the beauty vanished after he witnessed his mother being killed by robbers. In the face of immense pain and anger, Sandro becomes lost and starts to self-destruct, spending his days mingling with local criminal gangs. Under the influence of his companions, Sandro not only begins to use drugs himself but also gets involved in dangerous drug trafficking, gradually expanding his business. During a drug cleanup operation launched by the police, Sandro narrowly escapes death. He then meets the only person who can bring him warmth—Melissa (played by Chris Vianna). It turns out that Melissa is searching for her missing son, who is similar in age and physique to Sandro. By chance, Melissa becomes a mother figure to Sandro, but this does not stop him from heading toward self-destruction.
