Marion (Julie Delpy) is a photographer from France, and her boyfriend Jack (Adam Goldberg) is an American interior designer. They have been living in New York for two years, and their relationship has gradually become bland. To rekindle their lost passion, they drop everything and go on vacation to Europe. After enjoying a perfect trip, their feelings are reignited, and Marion decides to visit her parents in Paris and bring back her little cat, to which the fantasizing Jack readily agrees. However, a series of bizarre events follow: Marion's parents are bold and discuss anything without restriction; Marion's ex-boyfriends show up, each more crazy than the last...
