It tells the story of a boy named Adam who is diagnosed with schizophrenia. He transfers to a new school and begins taking new medication. At first, the effects seem promising, but soon the truth comes to light, and he is forced to make some difficult decisions. Russell plays Adam's dream girl, Maya, while Rob plays Rebecca, a key figure in Adam's hallucinations, serving as a conduit for his unexpressed emotions. Nick Naveda writes the screenplay based on the novel of the same name by Julia Walton, with production by Mickey Liddell & Pete Shilaimon (The First Lady, The Apes).
