In the dark and brutal Impel Down prison, Blackbeard incites the prisoners in the infinite prison to kill each other in order to expand his pirate crew. Amidst the chaos, the man known as the "Heir of the Demon" Buene Fusta escapes from prison. This guy then teams up with Barret to hold a crazy pirate festival that sweeps the entire world—the Pirate Expo. News of the Expo quickly spreads to every corner of the world, and the treasure rewards attract various powerful factions, including the Straw Hat Pirates, of course. Upon hearing the news, Monkey D.
