The ocean is deep and mysterious, nurturing endless life while also concealing countless unknown secrets. People may not realize that their continuous intervention and destruction of nature will provoke a strong backlash from it. Rescuer A-Jie (played by Wang Yangming) once risked his life in a storm to save a stranded oil tanker. However, they encountered a stubborn captain and dark forces from the deep sea, resulting in the tragic fate of his companions and leaving him with shadows of despair and hopelessness. Years later, A-Jie overcomes his inner fears and boards a fishing boat again, hoping to conquer his inner demons. Yet, he faces the indifference and skepticism of crew member A-Tai (played by Zheng Renshuo) and first mate A-Ding (played by Li Liren). An accidental event causes a woman named Xiao Jing to fall into the sea, escalating the tension on board. A series of unforeseen incidents lead to panic and doubt among the crew, who were once united, now begin to blame and suspect each other. In this crisis, they face threats from natural disasters while also dealing with attacks from unknown underwater creatures. Only by setting aside prejudices and uniting closely can they hope to survive this life-and-death challenge and reclaim their right to exist.
