Man'er (played by Lin Jiaxin) travels to Qingdao to find a painting that her boyfriend Desen (played by Zheng Yijian) created before his passing. Her boyfriend left her due to a hereditary disease, and Man'er has always wanted to find the scene depicted in the painting. Qingdao is where Desen lived as a child, and she hopes to find clues there. After arriving in Qingdao, she meets the helpful postal worker Xiao Lie (played by Liu Ye), who is eager to assist Man'er in finding the scene from the painting.
