After experiencing a Halloween massacre in high school, Cindy (played by Anna Faris) and her friends enter college, where the carefree and happy life allows them to gradually forget the terrifying events of Halloween. Professor Oldman (played by Tim Curry), who has a passion for the supernatural, plans to conduct experiments at a haunted house where a horrific incident occurred a year ago, needing individuals with near-death experiences to serve as mediums for communicating with the supernatural.
