On August 8th, during Singapore's 25th National Day, the internationally renowned monk Daka visits Singapore while the Japanese Red Army plans to assassinate him. Hong Kong Interpol officer Lei Tai (played by Alan Tam) is tasked with protecting Daka and eliminating the Red Army’s leader, Kitajima Saburo. On the flight to Singapore, underworld figure Big B (played by Andy Lau) meets Daka and his girlfriend A-Ling (played by Rosemarie Tso) by chance.
