In bustling Tokyo, there lives a dispatch teacher named Nanami Minagawa (played by Haruka Kuroki), who seems to have no opinions about life. Through the internet, she meets fellow teacher Tetsuya Tsurugaoka (played by Go Ayano) and enters into marriage. To avoid an ordinary wedding, she hires her online acquaintance, the eccentric worker Ayumu Amuro (played by Kōki Mitani), to provide fake family and friends. Shortly after the wedding, Nanami learns of her husband's infidelity and finds herself caught in a trap, being kicked out of her home by her mother-in-law. She is left alone and filled with despair. After being introduced by Amuro, she pretends to be a friend at other people's weddings for money and meets a girl named Masaki Rinaka (played by Cocco) who seems almost like a fairy. Before long, Amuro brings her a well-paying job, leading Nanami to a villa in the suburbs where she unexpectedly reunites with Masaki... This film was ranked sixth in the Top Ten Films by "Eiga Shunju" in 2016. Shunji Iwai also re-edited the film into a six-episode mini-series for broadcast on television.
