This film is adapted from the novel of the same name by Tianxia Bachang. As a prequel to the "Ghost Blows Out the Light" series, it tells the story of young Hu Bayi's first venture into a tomb. Hu Bayi and his friend Wang Pangzi are hired by a mysterious boss to go to Laoheshan to find the Gold Sealing Token. During their journey, they encounter a pack of wolves and are forced to enter the depths of Laoheshan.
