The story takes place in a large marine world, where Uncle Ya (Ge You) who sells fish, dolphin trainer A Le (Yue Yunpeng), and aquarium security guard Du Zhiguo (Du Chun) meet through work and sympathize with each other's circumstances. They struggle hard but ultimately face emotional setbacks. One night, the three gather for dinner to drown their sorrows in alcohol, and when they get tipsy and lose consciousness, a car arrives at the aquarium.
