Sabrina (played by Julia Ormond) is the daughter of the driver for the Larrabee family and has secretly loved the second son, David (played by Greg Kinnear), since childhood. The outside world’s assessment of David is not at all comparable to that of his older brother Linus (played by Harrison Ford), who is praised for his wisdom, calmness, and business acumen. David is merely a playboy who knows nothing but chasing women. However, Sabrina doesn’t care about that; she loves David wholeheartedly. Concerned for her, her father arranges for Sabrina to study in Paris, hoping she can break out of her narrow circle and see the vastness of the world. Sure enough, upon returning from Paris, Sabrina has shed her naivety, behaving elegantly and speaking fluently, exuding femininity. David quickly falls for her charms, even disregarding his fiancée, which causes panic within the family. Linus deliberately gets close to Sabrina, hoping to send her away, but the plot begins to gradually slip out of Linus's control…
