Everything was perfect. Buddy (Ben Affleck) enjoyed his time, money, and fame while he was still young, until that day. At the airport, in order to spend a night with the beautiful Minnie (Natasha Henstridge), Buddy transferred his only precious ticket to the honest Greg (Tony Goldwyn). Unfortunately, this kind deed had tragic consequences; the plane crashed, and Greg became the wandering soul in place of Buddy, who was supposed to be on the flight. As time rushed by, Buddy couldn't escape the initial shock and guilt. He decided to visit Greg's home. There, Buddy met Greg's widow, Abby (Gwyneth Paltrow), and to his dismay, he found himself falling in love with this beautiful and kind woman, complicating matters further.
