As they argue fiercely, a racist bursts into the restaurant and opens fire. Love suddenly becomes clear between life and death. A photojournalist (Rade Serbedzija) who has left a friend travels back to his hometown in Macedonia after 16 years. Here are his old friends, his Orthodox friends, and the ethnic conflicts with Albanians. The photojournalist tries to resolve the disputes through reconciliation, but it is far from as simple as he imagined. "The circle is not a circle."
