Pierre (played by Pierre Richard) has lost his wife and lives in sadness and loneliness. His daughter, unable to bear seeing her father so dejected all day, buys him a computer with the hope that he can find new joy in the vast world of the internet, and perhaps even discover a late-life romance. Since Pierre knows nothing about computers, he recruits Alexis (played by Yaniss Lespert) to be his computer tutor. On a dating site, Pierre meets a woman named Flora63 (played by Fanny Valette), who, in real life, is a physical therapist. As they exchange messages, Pierre finds himself developing feelings for her, even though she exists in a virtual world. Flora63 is also very curious about Pierre, and she suggests meeting in person. Uncertain, Pierre decides to send Alexis in his place.
