Will Montgomery (Nicolas Cage) and his four-man robbery gang are caught red-handed by the FBI while trying to steal from a bank vault. In the chaos, his partner Vincent is shot, and Will is arrested after setting fire to the stolen money. Eight years later, Will is released from prison, only to face suspicion from FBI agent Anderson, who thinks he hid some of the stolen money, and hostility from his daughter Allison (Sami Gayle). Just when Will is feeling overwhelmed, he receives news that Vincent has kidnapped Allison. It turns out that after their failed heist, Vincent fell into despair, and to reclaim his share of ten million dollars, he abducted Allison. Will tries to seek help from the FBI but is not trusted by Anderson, leaving him no choice but to rescue his daughter alone. To do this, he reluctantly seeks out his former partner Riley (Malin Akerman) to prepare for a new crime...
