Yibola, Karl, and Fred are good friends, and all three love diving. However, an underwater accident creates a rift between Karl and Fred, leading them to part ways. Two years later, while Karl and Paula are conducting underground measurements in Vienna, they encounter a cave-in. Karl is trapped in an underground tomb that harbors a tattooed mummy. Fred returns to help Paula rescue Karl. During the intense rescue operation, Karl quietly appears before Paula and Fred with gold coins from the tomb. The malicious collector Santar learns of the tattooed mummy's secret and coerces curator Shrebe to secretly meet Karl to demand photos of the mummy's tattoos. Karl returns to the underground tomb.
