Wealthy businessman Enrique (played by Ferdinando Sarmi) hires private detective Caroni (Gino Rossi) to investigate the whereabouts of his wife Paula (Lucia Bosé). As the investigation deepens, Paula's first love Guido (Massimo Girotti) gradually comes to light, along with a long-hidden secret. It turns out that Guido's former lover Joy (Marika Rowsky), is also Paula's friend, and the three find themselves in an ambiguous love triangle. In an accident, Joy sadly dies, and Paula and Guido part ways. Now, as Guido and Paula reunite, the passionate love between them reignites. However, Paula is torn between her current life of wealth and her yearning for a genuine, fiery relationship with Guido, leaving her in a dilemma.
