He Yuming (played by Huang Xiaoming) is fully focused on his work, hoping to save enough money to marry his girlfriend who is in Los Angeles. However, he did not expect that his devoted efforts would be met with the news of his girlfriend's decision to break up with him. Struggling to understand this, He Yuming decides to travel to Los Angeles to confront his girlfriend in person. Thus, he joins a travel group called "Hollywood Adventure Tour." On the way, He Yuming meets die-hard movie fan Fang Dawei (played by Tong Dawei) and the tour guide Zhao Weiwei (played by Zhao Wei). The three of them, who appear to get along well, are unaware that from the moment they joined the tour group, they have become embroiled in a conspiracy. In an instant, the three go from being unknown individuals to fugitives wanted for smuggling in a police international manhunt. They embark on an escape and vow to uncover the truth behind the incident.
