This film was shot in 1979, directed and starring the character actor Lo Lieh, with Liu Chia-liang invited as the martial arts director. The story describes the leader of the White Lotus Sect (Lo Lieh), over sixty years old, with a handsome face but white hair, who has mastered a unique skill that allows him to close up all his acupuncture points. His martial arts are profound and unfathomable, yet he willingly acts as a hunting dog for the Qing Dynasty, secretly aiding his nephew Gao Jinchong (Wang Longwei) in eliminating anti-Qing patriots and disrupting the reconstruction of the Shaolin Temple. Hong Wending (Liu Chia-hui) is the son of Shaolin hero Hong Xiguan, who once killed a disciple of Bai, Bai Mei Dao Ren, and became famous in the martial arts world. Bai and Gao learn that Hong is hiding in the home of anti-Qing patriot Hu Yabiao. They launch a night attack, killing Hu and his sister, while Hong manages to protect Hu’s pregnant wife (Hui Yinghong) and makes a daring escape...
