Eighteen years ago, on a stormy night, Xiao Die (played by Xu Shen Dong) was born, but her birth triggered a fire in the village, leading not only to catastrophe but also to the death of her biological father, as if she was a symbol of misfortune. Upon learning of Xiao Die's birth, the heavenly court discovered she was a disaster star appearing once every eight hundred years, which would bring catastrophic consequences to the human world. Thus, they decided to send messengers to end Xiao Die's life. However, Ji Zi (played by Chen Hao Min) intervened upon hearing of this and placed a seal on Xiao Die to protect her from harm, believing her birth was destined and confident that her spirit would grow over the eighteen years, and he would be able to save her. Eighteen years passed in the blink of an eye, and Ji Zi found Xiao Die, but their positions were different. The other immortals considered Xiao Die an embodiment of disaster and believed she must be eliminated for the safety of the populace, while Ji Zi hoped to transform her into a human being with love. They agreed on a seven-day time limit; if Ji Zi could not complete his task in seven days, Xiao Die would be forced to be eliminated. Ji Zi discovered that several primordial spirits resided within Xiao Die, each representing different incarnations from her previous lives, and because they all died with resentment, their grievances continued to linger around her. Ji Zi attempted to lead these primordial spirits out and perform transcendence, successfully releasing three of them from Xiao Die's body, and her condition gradually improved. However, time was running out, and the last primordial spirit had not yet revealed itself. The other immortals grew impatient to eliminate Xiao Die, as they found out that this primordial spirit was the king of disasters appearing once every thousand years, and his arrival would bring unprecedented calamities. With enemies surrounding him, can Ji Gong rely on his great love to move the thousand-year disaster king and save Xiao Die and all of humanity? This test full of love and fate will determine the destiny of the human world.
