Police officer Tong Mingsong (played by Zu Feng) is responsible for investigating a car accident in which college student Mosquito (played by Chang Fangyuan) tragically dies. Tong Mingsong decides to team up with his friend, mechanic Qin Feng (played by Zhu Yawen), who had feelings for Mosquito, to uncover the truth behind the incident. As the two investigate, they uncover the secrets of a middle-class couple, Qiao Yongzhao (played by Qin Hao) and Lu Jie (played by Hao Lei). Lu Jie meets the mother of her daughter's kindergarten friend, Sanqi (played by Qi Xi), and during their interactions, she discovers her husband's affair...
