A package sent to a husband in prison is suddenly returned, leaving the wife no choice but to travel to Siberia in search of answers. The statue of Lenin looms, the shadow of the Iron Curtain is everywhere, and everyone is downtrodden and numb, turning a blind eye to everything. A taxi driver says, "The prison helps people survive," yet the wife faces humiliation at every turn in front of the high walls, while her husband remains missing; the cost of discovering the truth is heavy. Inspired by Dostoevsky's "A Gentle Creature," it tears apart the gentleness to reveal the cruelty, exposing the lingering specter of totalitarian oppression. Lozhenitsa raises a glass of pure vodka to toast the suffering of the Russian people, leaving a burning sensation and bitter aftertaste in the throat.
