The girl, an eight-year-old named Mei Gou, has to take her blind singer sister Jingjing (played by Fang Siyu) to a teahouse to sing every day. The new musician Zhu Gao (played by Zhao Yilan), although female, presents herself and behaves in a masculine manner.
