Mei Gou develops a vague affection for Zhu Gao, but Zhu Gao's love is directed toward her sister. Shuilian (played by Lu Yijing), in her youth, chose to marry a gay man, Ah Yan, to avoid suspicion. Now growing old, her partner Ah Hai has passed away, and just then, Ah Yan, who has contracted AIDS and has been betrayed by his lover, seeks refuge with his legal wife, Shuilian. However, in her mind, Shuilian mistakenly believes Ah Yan is Ah Hai and wants him to stay by her side... Zhu Gao, in her youth, is only willing to associate with a feminine-acting guy, Ah Yan. She is frustrated with her developing breasts and gets rejected when confessing to girls. It is only when she encounters the radiant Shuilian on a night market stage that Zhu Gao begins to realize certain things...
