Paul the Octopus (voiced by Jiang Ke) is being chased by his creditors due to massive debts, and in desperation, he can only take his family and flee underwater, living a life of hiding. By chance, Paul meets the One-Eyed Shark (voiced by Tan Mantang), and under the shark's incitement and manipulation, Paul surprisingly embarks on a path of gambling, winning repeatedly and becoming a dazzling star overnight, which leads to his arrogance. Paul’s son, Little Paul (voiced by Li Ye), inadvertently uncovers the One-Eyed Shark's scheme; it turns out that all the results of the games are controlled by the shark. Initially, Paul does not believe his son's words and thinks they are nonsense, but as time passes, with Little Paul's relentless persuasion and that of his friends, Paul finally sees the truth and returns to the right path.
