The story takes place in a small village in India called Mandwa, where Vijay (played by Hrithik Roshan) has a father who spent his entire life as a teacher, kind and honest. However, this good man is framed by the local most ruthless and evil drug dealer, Kanchha (played by Sanjay Dutt). Enraged villagers lose their minds and hang Vijay's father in front of Vijay and his mother. Thus, Vijay's life is completely changed. He and his mother leave Mandwa and move to Mumbai to start a new life. The seed of anger has already been sown, and Vijay joins the largest local gang in Mumbai, relentlessly climbing up the ranks, stepping over countless bodies and blood. Fifteen years later, Vijay has become the most cold-blooded assassin and returns to Mandwa, ready to execute his revenge plan.
