On June 27, 1976, four individuals hijacked an Air France flight. The flight was scheduled from Tel Aviv to Paris, and among the hijackers, two were members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), while the other two Germans belonged to the far-left extremist organization Revolutionary Cells. They took over a hundred hostages (mostly Israelis) and held them for an entire week. Their main demand was the release of 40 imprisoned Palestinian terrorists and armed personnel. The film recreates the events that took place after the plane landed in Entebbe, with the four hijackers receiving support from Ugandan dictator Idi Amin. Based on recent research, the film presents its own version of the hijacking process, particularly regarding the release of non-Jewish hostages. At the same time, it details how the Israeli government, through its security task force, forcefully ended the hostage situation.
