Zhao De-yin's fifth feature film "Burning Secrets" received a subsidy of NT$12 million from the Taiwan Ministry of Culture. Actor Wu Ke-xi serves as both actor and screenwriter, and the film wrapped up on November 26, 2018, bid farewell to Myanmar for the first time. The film tells the story of a rural girl chasing her dreams in the city. The girl Nina (played by Wu Ke-xi) heads north alone to pursue her dream of becoming an actress, and she achieves her wish to act in the film "Spy Romance." However, she faces numerous challenges, including the insults from a paranoid director, the indifference of her agent, and the unprofessionalism of her assistant, bringing her to the brink of collapse. After finally completing the film, she receives the news that her father's factory has closed, and her mother is seriously ill, forcing Nina to return to her hometown. There, she encounters her former friend Kiki (played by Song Yun-hwa), leading to a series of strange events, all seemingly connected to the disappearance of girl number three (played by Xia Yu-qiao), who suddenly vanished after competing with her for a role... How will Nina overcome and face the numerous hardships of fate?
