Nene (Leonardo Sbaraglia) and Ángel (Eduardo Noriega) are a pair of violent criminals known as "the Twins." They are inseparable, and their relationship is actually that of lovers. The two met in a public restroom frequented by gay men, and Nene took the homeless Ángel home. They began living together, committing crimes together. Ángel suffers from severe auditory hallucinations, constantly hearing noisy voices, which leads him to start rejecting Nene's touch. Gradually, a rift forms between them, and Nene realizes that if they can pull off one big job together, they can regain their "twin" connection. They participate in a robbery orchestrated by a government official, robbing a bank’s cash transport vehicle with their accomplices. The robbery does not go smoothly; Ángel is shot, and Nene kills the police officers. They commit a shocking crime. To escape pursuit, they embark on a journey with the stolen money. This film is based on a real criminal event that occurred in Argentina in 1965.
