In a small village in Thailand, a group of soldiers arrives for deployment. Among them is a soldier named KENG (played by Banlop Lomnoi) who befriends a village boy named TONG (played by Sakda Kaewbuadee). Initially, TONG shares a romantic connection with a girl, but they ultimately miss their chance. While helping out at a factory, TONG learns to drive from KENG, which leads to a deep bond between them... The relationship between KENG and TONG slowly evolves from friendship to something deeper. TONG's mother accidentally discovers a card that TONG wrote to express his feelings for KENG. To prevent her son from becoming more entangled, she takes both of them through an underground tunnel to pray for blessings. In the dense jungle, they inadvertently hear an ancient legend — that love can cause the souls of lovers to transform into tigers. They never expected it to become a reality… This film won the Jury Prize at the 57th Cannes Film Festival.
