John Lithgow stars as Roger Ailes, one of the founders and former chairman of Fox News; Charlize Theron plays former Fox News host Megyn Kelly; Nicole Kidman portrays former host Gretchen Carlson; Margot Robbie plays a fictional character named Kayla Pospisil, an assistant producer; Allison Janney plays Ailes’ lawyer, Susan Estrich; Malcolm McDowell portrays Rupert Murdoch; Brigette Lundy-Paine plays Julia Clarke; Liv Hewson plays Megyn Kelly’s assistant, Lily; McRae plays host Martha MacCallum, Ailes’ defender; Garrett plays host Sean Hannity, who saw Ailes as a second father, referring to him as "one of America’s greatest patriotic warriors."
