Fan Xiaobing (played by Da Peng), who dreams of turning his life around with big projects, is unable to escape the shadow of his father, Fan Yingxiong (played by Fan Wei), a retired veteran. Xiaobing is smooth-tongued and loves to bluff, while Yingxiong is upright and skilled in martial arts; the conflict between Xiaobing and Yingxiong is explosive.
