Lei Xiaobao (played by Jiang Wen) and his sister Lei Xiaojian (played by Yu Li) are siblings who share a close bond, relying on each other for support. Xiaobao is a criminal police officer, and recently, a fraud case involving an amount of 20 million yuan has put him in a difficult situation. The criminal he is chasing, Chen Ziliang (played by Wan Ziliang), turns out to be Xiaojian's boyfriend.
