The story takes place in the southwestern border of our country. The criminal police captain Guo Jin (played by Wang Weiping) receives a report: the old captain Sun Honghui (played by Li Ding) has discovered a corpse while hunting in the woods. He immediately brings his assistant Xiao Wang (played by Bai Yun) to the scene. During the investigation, they learn that the perpetrator is a cripple. A monkey near the body catches Guo Jin's attention, and based on the monkey's behavior, he confirms that the deceased was a monkey trainer. Through comprehensive analysis, the mutton soup noodle shop of Widow Zhang (played by Ruan Peikang) comes into the investigative spotlight.
