Karen (Dee Wallace-Stone) is a reporter working at a television station. With her help, the police have solved a series of cases committed by the serial killer Eddie (Robert Picardo). Although the incident has come to a satisfactory conclusion, Karen’s inner self has also suffered greatly. On the advice of her psychologist, she decides to go to a rehabilitation center with her husband Chris (Dennis Dugan) for treatment.
