This film is the second part of director Michael Haneke's "Glacier Trilogy." Young Benny (Arno Frisch) loves watching videos, and he even has a camera in his room. One day, he invites a stranger girl (Ingrid Stassner) he met outside a video store to his home to watch some family videos. An accident occurs while they are playing with a homemade air gun, and Benny ends up killing the girl and recording the incident. A few days later, Benny confesses his crime to his mother (Angela Winkler) and father (Ulrich Mühe), shocking them both. The father decides to have the mother take Benny on a trip to Egypt while he stays behind to deal with the body. The question is, does Benny's crime simply vanish? This film won the FIPRESCI Prize at the European Film Festival and was nominated for Best European Film.
