Peter is a police officer working in the big city, investigating a human trafficking gang in Brașov. After rescuing a girl, he always thinks of his sister Yuli, who went missing in their hometown of Valan 22 years ago. One day, Peter receives a call informing him that his sister's body has been found in the pine trees on a snow-covered mountain, prompting him to return to the mining town of Transylvania. The ensuing investigation forces him not only to confront the stifling crime rate in the town but also to navigate the labyrinth of his past and face his fears.
