Lu Miguel (played by Wang Hexi) wins a statue at a high price. Archaeologist Professor Chen (played by Yamada Yoko) borrows the statue to study the mystery of the elixir of life hidden within it. Professor Chen sends her students, Zhuang Jian (played by Yuan Zihong) and Xiao Min (played by Li Zhao), to the border between China and India to search for a lost stone tablet. Along the way, they meet the local guide, Xiao Gui (played by Shi Xiaolong), and archaeology student Zhang Jun (played by Zhang Jin), and they travel together. Eventually, the group finds the statue but attracts deadly trouble. In the stone tablet, Professor Chen discovers an ancient tomb map where the elixir of life is hidden.
