In a corner of the bustling, hurried city, ordinary woman Teruko (played by Sakura Ando) sleeps all day. She has been in a relationship with Iwanaga (played by Arata Iura), whom she met in the workplace, for a long time. Iwanaga is a married man; his wife has been in a vegetative state for years, and the gentle nature of her relatives makes it difficult for him to leave. Yet, his yearning for love and freedom has kept him in this unresolvable affair with Teruko for years.
