The protagonist Sam (Chris Carmack) has a heavy past; a fire left his family shattered, and his sister Jenny (Rachel Miner) perished in the flames due to his mistake. As an adult, Sam accidentally discovers he possesses the superpower to time travel. He uses his ability to return to the scene of the fire, managing to save Jenny, but his parents, who were supposed to escape, die in the blaze. After altering the past, Sam and Jenny depend on each other, and Sam makes a girlfriend, Rebecca (Mia Serafino).
