Bai Xing Hotel is a five-star hotel located in Qiandao Lake, but all the staff in the hotel have only four-star hotel experience. Among these employees is the aspiring manager, Assistant Manager Bao Ding (played by Zheng Zhongji), the food and beverage supervisor and bartender Peng Jun (played by Du Wenze) who considers himself a star-in-the-making, the strict and meticulous housekeeping supervisor Tao Jie (played by Wu Junru), and the front desk receptionist Jia Mei (played by Sheng Jun) who is determined to marry a rich man.
