Nine kidnapping cases have occurred in Los Angeles, with the victims coming from various professions, including a priest (Marc Macaulay), a prosecutor (Melissa Joan Hart), an actor, and a club owner. There seems to be no connection between them, yet all the kidnappings are committed by one individual—a man in a blue mask and black clothing. The cases have shocked the city, and the police are mobilized but have found no leads. Meanwhile, in dark, damp basements in various corners of the city, the nine kidnapped individuals face the most painful moments of their lives. The masked kidnapper demands they reflect on the reasons for their abduction and kills one person every ten minutes until they uncover the reason. The hostages engage in intense debates, accusing each other and reflecting on the mistakes they've made in life. Time ticks away, and the judgment of death grows ever closer...
