The beautiful and competent taxi driver Xiao Feng (played by Ma Xiaoqing) and the complacent trumpet player Da Ming (played by Ge You) are a young couple married for over two years. The various aspects of daily life, such as living expenses and household chores, have caused problems in their relationship. Xiao Feng is dissatisfied with Da Ming's lack of ambition, while Da Ming is eager for a child but cannot make it happen.
