Summer 1989, East Germany. Adam is a tailor, and Evelyn is a waitress. They are planning to go on vacation together when Evelyn discovers Adam’s infidelity, and she decides to go on vacation alone. She follows Adam to Hungary. As the border with Austria gradually narrows, everything changes in Hungary.
