At 34 years old, Hono Tetsu (played by Tokui Yoshimitsu) is an ordinary worker at a construction site. This seemingly docile uncle, who is even disregarded by his son at home, was once a prominent member of a bosozoku gang in his youth. Looking back, 17-year-old Hono lived a thrilling life of street racing and fighting with his good friends, including Yokota Atsushi (played by Abe Takashi), in the bosozoku "Shinsha." However, the accidental death of the previous gang leader Watanabe Mitsuru's (played by Nakamura Tatsuya) brother led to a tragedy that left a deep mark on them. Their peaceful lives are disrupted when Hono's son Shuhei (played by Hayashi Kento) learns that his girlfriend, also Yokota's daughter, Makoto, has been assaulted by several thugs, forcing this group of ordinary middle-aged men to seek revenge. Soon after, they encounter the participants of the past tragedy again: Igarashi Ken (played by Murakami Jun), Ogata (played by Arai Hirofumi), and Hono. They interpret the meanings of "mōnì" and "family" through their actions... This film is adapted from the manga of the same name by Japanese manga artist Tanaka Hiromu.
