Russian mob boss Irina (played by Kate Winslet) orchestrates a perfect bank heist with a group of corrupt police officers. Since most of them are embedded within the police force, their counter-surveillance skills are exceptionally strong, making it nearly impossible to uncover the truth behind the case. However, they are unaware that the real threat does not come from the police investigation, but rather from someone who is closely watching the massive rewards they have obtained. After the job, Irina remains ambitious, oblivious to the fact that several police officers are already filled with conflict and on the brink of collapse under immense pressure. One of them, Marcus (played by Anthony Mackie), must face not only his internal struggles but also deal with his rookie partner Chris (played by Casey Affleck), who possesses a strong sense of justice and seems to be starting to notice what is happening around him.
